Phishing Emails

Please review the following information and certify that you understand using the form below.

If you received an email that you have a voicemail in your VMB email, DO NOT click on the link. Instead, please forward the message to help@vacationmyrtlebeach.com and your name and the best contact number for you.

As an additional security reminder, if anyone calls (either on a property reservation line or your personal contact phone,) emails, sends a carrier pigeon, or contacts you in any other way and asks you for your login info/passwords, TeamViewer ID/password, or tries to get any other information from you that would give them access to your accounts and/or your computer DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM unless you have requested help and you recognize the person who is asking for this information.

If they called you, tell them you will call them back and try to get their name and phone number and then hang up. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK! Spark the floor manager immediately and let them know what happened. If they emailed you, do not reply or open any links or attachments. Forward to help@vacationmyrtlebeach.com and Spark the floor manager to let them know. If the request is legitimate, someone with who you are familiar can validate it.

Floor managers will ask for anything via Spark if you need help with something because it’s quicker than looking it up, but all staff (including our separate IT department) who would need to access your computer has the means to do so without you having to provide anything.

If you have received an email to reset the password to your VMB email or to any other type of account and you have not actually requested this reset in the five minutes prior to the arrival of the message DO NOT click on the link.

Instead, please forward the message to help@vacationmyrtlebeach.com along with your name and the best contact number for you.

If you have clicked the link, please immediately email USD and call the support desk at 843-945-4215 (Contract Data)
