System Issues & Errors
You MUST send all errors to usd@vacationmyrtlebeach.com. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action up to or including termination.
Here are a few examples of errors:
Leads not populating
Error messages when processing a reservation. (you do not need to send a credit card declined error message.)
Rates not populating (after checking inventory, max occupancy, and minimums)
For QA (Any active reservations with no deposit, multiple reservations, or any unusual error that you don’t usually see daily.)
System giving you an error message that you have never seen before.
IF YOU PUT IT IN CCPROCESSING CHAT, IT PROBABLY NEEDS TO BE SENT TO USD@ AS AN ERROR!
You will need to use your snipping tool to capture a screenshot of the Error. Your Snipping Tool is located on your taskbar. If not, you can search "snip" in the start menu.
Click on Mode and then select Full-screen Snip. This will take a screenshot.
Once you snip it will auto copy the image. You do not need to copy or save it, it is already on the clipboard for you!
Paste the entire image into an email. DO NOT save the image and attach it to an email.
In the subject line, include a brief description of the issue such as rate error, booking failure, can't log in, kicked out, no deposit charged, etc.
In the message, include all relevant information such as what the error is, property name, dates of stay, room type, rate code, etc.
Notes:
If credit card information is visible, use the pen to block out the card number. (If you need to change to a thicker pen, you can click customize and create a thicker pen tip. The custom pen you create will be remembered for next time.)
You can use the highlighter to highlight anything you want to bring attention to.
If you draw or highlight the wrong thing, you can use the eraser to remove the marks.
Any drawing and highlighting you do will automatically be copied to the clipboard. You will not need to copy it, just paste it directly into the email!
To paste into an email, you can right click in the message portion and click paste OR you can simply click into the message portion and then press the V key while holding CTRL on your keyboard.
