Time Keeping/Missed Punches

Please review the following information from the company’s Employee Guidelines (which you received when you were hired) and certify that you understand using the form below. Notes added in blue.

 

TIME CLOCKS

 

The employee time clock punch is a record of the amount of time he/she/they have worked. Employees are to punch in on the time clock at the start of his/her/their scheduled work period and punch out again at the end of his/her/their scheduled workday, as well as lunches. The employee shall never punch in/out for another employee, as this is a serious violation of Company policy. 

 

No employee should ever punch in earlier than five (5) minutes before the scheduled start of the workday or more than five (5) minutes after the scheduled end of the workday unless authorized by a supervisor/manager. A Missed Punch Time Report must be filled out for every missed punch. To report missed punches, send a spark to the floor manager on duty OR email supervisors@vacationmyrtlebeach.com.

 

Should excessive missed punches occur, the Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to discipline the employee by means of a verbal warning, written warning, unpaid suspension, or termination of employment. This also includes failing to report missed punches.

 

Anyone punching in/out for anyone other than themselves will be subject to disciplinary action up to immediate termination.

 

It is the responsibility of each employee to enroll in Kronos and view their punches. To report missed punches or errors, send a spark to the floor manager on duty OR email supervisors@vacationmyrtlebeach.com.


All missed punches must be submitted prior to the end of the pay period (every other Friday night). Any employee with missing or incorrect punches that have to be researched after the pay period has ended will receive disciplinary action up to immediate termination.


As a reminder, all PTO and Holiday pay requests must also be submitted before the end of the pay period, as specified on the Employee Reference page.
